Mrs. Pauline Lamarre

Pauline (Parrington) Lamarre of Lowell, devoted mother and grandmother Pauline Lamarre, age 80, wife of the late Robert Lamarre, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. With her husband of nearly 58 years, she raised ten children in the house he built for her. She made that house a welcoming place for her extended family, who often took refuge there. Known for her sewing skills, she made her own wedding dress and many outfits for her family over the years. She was a meticulous craftsperson, who always taught the value of a job done right. After scrimping and saving to give her family a good life, Pauline was finally able to enjoy Bingo nights and trips to the casino. The daughter of the late James and Jane Edna (Marshall) Parrington, she is survived by her children Brenda Milinazzo and husband Don; Doreen Lindof and husband Don; Gayle Willess; Christine Trani and husband Gabe; Donna Roy and companion Scott Anderson; Leonard Lamarre and wife Paula; Wayne Lamarre; Wanda Hennessey and companion Don Jackson; Laura Lamarre Anderson and husband Gregory; daughter in-law Nadine Isabelle and husband Don. She was also the mother of the late Robert Lamarre and Mary Lamarre. Pauline was the very proud Nana of her 22 grandchildren: Christopher, Jeremy, Adam, Jeff, Amy, Terry, Rick, Melanie, Alyssa, Gennessis, Jonathan, Nathan, Lacey, Jessica, Stephanie, Nicholas, Rachel, Ethan, Isaac, Jacob, Theodora, and Anya; and her 12 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Clifford and Albert Parrington, and Florence Taylor.
