Liliana N. Teves Loving Daughter, Niece, and Cousin NORTH TEWKSBURY—Liliana Naraze Teves, the beloved daughter of Leocadia M. (Espinola) Teves, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 13, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital, following an extended illness. She was 42 years old. Liliana was born in Lowell on May 12, 1969, the only daughter of Leocadia Teves who survives her, and the late Humberto Teves. She was educated in the Tewksbury schools and was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica. Following graduation, Liliana was employed at a pharmaceutical company, utilizing her background in Chemistry. Liliana loved the west coast and the Northern California climate. She lived there for four years before returning home to N. Tewksbury. Liliana enjoyed being outdoors and was a free-spirit. She liked music, reading, and her Camaro. Liliana was always the organizer of family parties and get-togethers. Surviving Liliana in addition to her mother Leocadia are her aunts and uncles, Francisco and Maria Carvalho of Lowell, Eva Diniz of Stoneham, and Alvaro Diniz of Graciosa; her cousins, Margarita Diniz, Steve Diniz and his wife Andrea of Boston; and their children Luciano Diniz, and Maria Diniz; Valquirio Carvalho and his wife Heidi of Lowell; and their children Antonio Carvalho, Mateo Carvalho, and Carlos Carvalho. Liliana was the granddaughter of the late Joao and Inocencia Diniz, and Encarncao Teves, and niece of the late Valquirio Diniz and Valmiro Diniz. She is also survived by many friends. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on FRIDAY from 4 until 8 P.M. Liliana’s Funeral will begin on SATURDAY MORNING at 9 o’clock from the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock at ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH, 893 Central St. Lowell.
