Joseph P. Stevens, Sr. “Joe” Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather TEWKSBURY—Joseph Patrick Stevens, Sr., 69, the beloved husband of Pamela L. (Tirabassi) Stevens, and a 35 year resident of Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus. Joseph was born in Somerville on February 20, 1947, a son of the late Gilbert and Teresa (Murray) Stevens. He was educated in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin. Prior to his retirement, Joe was employed as a Machinist for many years, most recently at HC Stark in Newton. Joe was a loving and caring man. He was generous with anything he had to anyone in need. His wife, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren, and his siblings were his greatest treasure. Joe also loved cars. He enjoyed working on them, detailing them, and racing them. He was a New England Sports fan, especially the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins. Joe also liked working in his yard. Surviving Joe is his wife Pamela Stevens of Tewksbury; his son Joseph P. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Shannon of Dracut; his daughter, Heather Clark and her husband Tim of Nottingham, NH; four adoring grandchildren, Alexandra Stevens, Isabella Stevens, Maticen Clark, and Olivia Stevens; his siblings, Helena Guthrie and her husband Gene of Florida, Cheryl Boland and her husband Colin of Billerica, Joanne Lally and her husband Vincent of Westwood, and Gilbert Stevens and his wife Lynn of Reading; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and John Murphy of Florida; also several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on TUESDAY from 4 until 8 PM. Mr. Stevens’ FUNERAL SERVICE will take place at 7:30 PM TUESDAY EVENING during his calling hours. Cremation will follow.
