Gabrielle E. Coolong Loving Mother and Grandmother CHELMSFORD—Gabrielle E. (Guill) Coolong passed away on Monday morning, January 9, 2012 at Saints Medical Center following a brief illness. She just celebrated her 70th birthday. Gabrielle was born in Nashua, NH on January 4, 1942, a daughter of the late Charles and Evonne (Mireault) Guill. Gabe spent her early years in Nashua and attended Nashua schools, graduating from Nashua High School. Gabe spent her professional career as a Nurse’s Aide, first at Palm Manor and later at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital. She also works at Stickney & Poor Spice Company of Chelmsford and later at Rosenbloom’s in Lowell. She lived in Nashua, NH and in South Lowell for most of her life, before moving to Chelmsford Crossing in 2002. At Chelmsford Crossing, Gabe made many friends and was involved in many activities. She loved to socialize. Gabe was a shopper and a good cook who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Some of her hobbies included playing cards and bingo, watching movies, and going camping. She loved animals, especially gorillas and orcas. Gabrielle was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church. Surviving Gabrielle are her children, Angela Lamarche of Minnesota, Paul E. Coolong, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Lowell, and Adam C. Coolong of Lowell; her grandchildren, Crystal Meneses and Libanio Meneses, Jennifer Raboin and Joseph Raboin, Joshua Guimond, Ryan Lamarche, Adam Lamarche, Kyle Gilman, Amanda Carrol, Stephanie Carroll, Amber Guimond, Katie Coolong, Jacob Coolong, and Andrew Cowgill; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Raboin, Kayleigh Raboin, and Kassandra Raboin; a sister, Jeanne Tartalis and her husband Michael of NH ; a brother, Charles Guill of NH, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Gilman of Chelmsford. Gabrielle was the mother of the late Michael A. Guimond and Laurie Gilman; the great grandmother of the late Joseph Raboin, and the former wife of Paul E. Coolong, Sr. who survives her, with whom she was married for 33 years. FUNERAL NOTICE COOLONG—In Lowell, January 9, 2012 at Saints Medical Center. Gabrielle E. Gabrielle’s Funeral Service will follow at 12 NOON in the Funeral Home to which all are invited. Cemetery services will be private.
