Vincent Edward Robinson Veteran, World War II LOWELL—Vincent E. Robinson was called home to Glory by his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2012. He was born in Lawrence, MA, May 3, 1916, the son of the late Annie E. (Wainwright) and Sam Robinson. He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Myrtle E. (LeTourneau) Robinson whom he married on November 4, 1939. Vincent served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII in England, France, and Germany from 1943-1946. He was a resident of Tewksbury and Lowell, MA and the owner of Robinson’s Auto Body in Dracut, MA. Vin was always “inventing” something and he enjoyed many hobbies, especially photography, pen and ink drawing, and wood carving. He was a member of the Church of the Open Bible, Burlington, and later the Marsh Corner Community Church, Methuen. Vincent’s love for God and his family always came first in his life. In addition to his wife Myrtle, Vincent is survived by his daughter Donna Mrozowski and her husband, William L. Mrozowski; two grandchildren, William E. Mrozowski and his wife Megan, and Stacey Helgerson and her husband Joel. “Papa” was blessed with four loving great grandchildren, Ryan Mrozowski, and Kathryn, Madelyn, and Allyson Helgerson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Although Vinnie will be deeply missed, his family and dearest friends share the promise of a Glorious reunion some day. As Mr. Robinson wished, a private service was held and burial took place on January 28, 2012 in the West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover, MA.
