Mrs. Maureen C. (Coupe) Morrison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Maureen C. Morrison Loving Mother and Grandmother Maureen C. (Costello) (Coupe) Morrison, 88, passed away on July 18, 2022 at the High Point Hospice in Haverhill. She was the wife of the late Edmund Coupe who passed away in 1984, and the late Paul Morrison who passed away in 2019. Maureen was born in Lawrence on May 14, 1934, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Powers) Costello. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School in Lawrence, attending all 12 years there. Prior to retirement, Maureen had been employed as a Para Legal with the firm of Donahue & Donahue. She raised 4 children with her husband Edmund, until his passing in 1984. Maureen loved sports, especially the Red Sox, the Patriots (and Tom Brady, even after he left us). She was a runner and a ballroom dancer in her younger years. Maureen is survived by her children, Gerilyn Turcotte and her husband Steve of Lowell, Lynda Noonan of Lowell, and Gail Jean of Lowell; she was the mother of the late James Coupe. Maureen also leaves her five grandchildren, Heather Turcotte, Mark Turcotte, Matthew Turcotte, Keith Jean, and Brett Jean; seven great grandchildren; her brother, Jay Costello and his wife Susan of Maine, and her sister, Jeri Zappala of Methuen; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including her cousin and best friend, Justine Dobeck. Maureen was the aunt of the late Robyn Zappala. Family and Friends can call at FAY MCCABE FUNERAL HOME 105 MOORE STRRET LOWELL, on SUNDAY from 2 until 6 PM Maureen’s FUNERAL will begin on MONDAY MORNING at 9 AM from the Funeral Home, followed by her FUNERAL MASS AT 10 AM at THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH 144 EAST MERRIMACK STREET, LOWELL. Burial will follow in ST. PATRICK’S CEMETERY, Lowell.
