Margaret Ahearn Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother On Monday, January 3, 2021, Margaret Ahearn, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 78. Margaret was born in Lowell on June 8, 1942 to Joseph and Margaret (Bassett) Gendreau. Margaret grew up in Lowell, and attended the Lowell Schools. Margaret worked as a quality control supervisor at Raytheon and Wang Industries. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family. Margaret was proceeded in death by her loving husband James R. Ahearn Sr. and her daughter, Debora Fortin. Margaret raised and is survived by her three sons, Leo Calhoun of Lowell, James R. Ahearn Jr. of Methuen, and Brian Ahearn of Nashua, their wives and families. Margaret is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many loving friends whom she considered family. FUNERAL NOTICE Due to the ongoing pandemic, Funeral Services will not be held at this time. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be announced at a later date.
