Eileen R. Ryan Leakeas Beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother Sister, Aunt, and Friend LOWELL—Eileen Rose Ryan Leakeas, 51, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Eileen had courageously battled cancer for many years. Eileen was born in Lowell on July 13, 1967, a daughter of Mary (Underwood) Ryan who survives her, and the late Francis Ryan. She attended the Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Prior to her illness, Eileen was employed by the City of Lowell School Department as a Para Professional at the Shaughnessy School. Eileen was a member of the Fire Fighter's Club and she loved to sing Karaoke. Most of all, Eileen loved being a Mother and a Grammy. Eileen is survived by her mother, Mary Ryan; her husband Paul Leakeas; her children, Paul Leakeas, III, and Courtnie Leakeas and her partner Tim Davis; her two grandchildren, Stella Leakeas and Jaxon Leakeas; her sisters, Debbie Nangle, Linda Hazelton and her husband Greg, Kelly Ryan, Sheila Sweeney and her husband Bob, and Patricia Gillogly and her husband Jim; her brother Kevin Ryan and his wife Erin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her aunt Marilyn Connolly and her husband Joe; her uncle, George Ryan and his wife Maureen, and many, many friends, including her best friend Kerry Chamberlain, who was like a sister to her, and was with her every step of the way. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon at at St. Anthony’s Church, Central St., Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
