Mrs. Carol A. McInnis

March 10, 1940 - January 18, 2022

Carol A. McInnis Loving Mother and Grandmother LOWELL—Carol A. (McDowell) McInnis, 81, a Pawtucketville resident, passed away on January 18, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Frederick McInnis who died in 2004. Born in Lowell on March 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Grace (Plummer) McDowell. Carol attended Lowell Schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Carol had been employed at the University of Lowell as a Cafeteria worker for 10 years. Prior to that, she was a homemaker. Carol was an avid reader. She enjoyed going to the beach and she was a Red Sox fan. Carol especially enjoyed her grandchildren. At home, she was the cook during the week, while her husband enjoyed cooking for the family on Sundays. Carol also enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren to New York. She liked trips to the casino with her family and watching old Westerns on T.V. Surviving Carol are her seven children, Sean M. McInnis of Lowell, Scot E. McInnis of Lowell, Brian P. McInnis of Londonderry, NH, Sandra J. McInnis of Nashua, Cynthia B. “Cindy” McInnis of Chelsea, Dawn M. McInnis of Dracut, and Lisa A. McInnis of Lowell; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jamila, Tasha, Stacy, Jennifer, Daniele, Katelyn, Stephinie, Nicolette, Gracie, Michael, Isiah, Bryant, Claude, Sean Jr., Joshua, and Conner; many great grandchildren; her sister, Patsie McDowell of Lowell; and her sister-in-law, Kim McDowell of Lowell. Carol was the mother of the late Freddie A. McInnis Jr. and grandmother of the late Kevin.
