Barbara L. Mansfield Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister NASHUA----Barbara L. (James) Mansfield, 71, passed away on July 15, 2020. She was the loving wife of Richard R. Mansfield who survives her. They were married on October 7, 1989. Barbara was born in Waltham, MA on July 31, 1948, a daughter of the late William H. James and Elizabeth M (Collagan) James. She attended Newton Schools and was a graduate of Newton North High School. For many years, Barbara worked in Customer Service at Advance Reproduction in Andover, MA. Her favorite role was being Mom to her three sons, Richard, Donald, and Michael. She and her family were former parishioners of Sacred Heart Church. As much as Barbara loved being a Mom, nothing topped being the Grandmother of Sarah, Richard, Cole and Cori. She loved spending time with them and sharing in all family events, her sole focus was family. Barbara especially treasured the holidays. Spending time with her friends was another pastime Barbara enjoyed. She had a love of reading and was very talented in ceramics. Barbara took several trips to Aruba and made many happy memories there. Barbara will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her husband, Richard R. Mansfield of Hudson, NH; her three sons, Richard Sevigny and his wife Robin, Donald Sevigny, and Michael Sevigny all of Hudson, NH; her four grandchildren, Sarah, Richard, Cole, and Cori Sevigny; her sisters, Patricia Rogers and her husband Ronald of Florida and Nancy Jones and her husband Jay of Florida; also many nieces and nephews. Barbara was the sister of the late William T. James and the late Richard T. James. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on WEDNESDAY from 4 until 8 PM. To ensure the safety of all, social distancing measures will be in place and face coverings are required.
