Antoinette M. Ainsley Beloved Wife, Sister, and Aunt LOWELL—Antoinette Mary (Latessa) Ainsley, beloved wife of the late Robert F. Ainsley, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was 91 years old. Antoinette was born in Lowell on October 21, 1919, a daughter of Italian immigrants Joseph and Raffaela (Franciose) Latessa. She grew up and received her education in New York. For over 30 years, Antoinette was employed with Courier Citizen, working in the Bindery Department. Antoinette was married for 33 years to Robert F. Ainsley who passed away in 2008. She was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church. Antoinette’s hobbies included bowling, reading, sewing, and puzzling. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Antoinette is survived by her sister, Anne (Latessa) Torrissi of Lowell; her God daughter, Angella Coralle and her husband Russ of Ohio; her cousins, Dr. Anthony Latessa and his wife Olga of Ohio and Dr. Mark Latessa also of Ohio; her nieces Patricia Morreale and her husband Paul, Helene Smith and her husband Peter, and Maryellen Latessa, all of New York; her nephews, Joseph Latessa and his wife Leanna of New York, Philip Latessa and his wife Judy of Iowa, Daniel Latessa and his wife Norma of Lowell; also many additional nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in New York, Iowa and Lowell; four sisters-in-law, Ruth Redding, Mary Langill, Gladys St. Jean, and Hilda Latessa, all of Lowell; and many dear friends. Antoinette was the sister of the late Philip Latessa and Patsy Latessa, and sister-in-law of the late Mary Latessa. FUNERAL NOTICE AINSLEY—In Lowell, June 12, 2011 at a local nursing home.
