Anthony Cincotta, III Beloved Husband, Brother, Uncle NORTH BILLERICA—Anthony Cincotta, III, 76, a resident of North Billerica, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Jo-Ann (Gaudette) Cincotta, with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage on April 27th of this year. Anthony was born in Everett on March 8, 1940, a son of the late Antonio and Marion (Vasquez) Cincotta. He grew up in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1959. Anthony continued his education in Electronics Technician School from 1959 – 1961. Upon completion of his training, Anthony went to work for Raytheon in Andover. He was an Electronics Test Technician, a position he held for 46 years, retiring in 2006. Anthony was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus– Santa Maria Council #105 in Malden. He served as Grand Knight of Council #105 from 1971-1972. Anthony was a longtime parishioner of St. Theresa’s Church in Billerica and sang in the choir. Anthony loved spending time with his wife Jo-Ann at their summer retreat on Lake Ossipee in Freedom, NH. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and the mountains. He was an avid Boston Sports fan, especially the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. He was a season ticket holder for the Bruins back when they skated in the old Boston Garden. Anthony also enjoyed playing chess. He was an exceptional cook and loved cooking and hosting family, especially for Christmas Dinner. Anthony leaves his wife Jo-Ann Cincotta of N. Billerica; his sister Palma Morrissey-Vieira of Everett; his brother-in-law Stephen R. Gaudette of Billerica; two nephews, Peter Morrissey of Everett, and Christopher Morrissey and his wife Shannon of Billerica; a niece Christine Busby and her husband Mark of Calif; his great nieces and great nephews, Kevin Morrissey and Brooke Morrissey of Billerica, and Grace Morrissey and Jacob Morrissey of Billerica. Mr. Cincotta was the brother-in-law of the late Cesar Vieira and the uncle of the late Stephen Gaudette. Anthony’s family would like to acknowledge, with gratitude, the nurses and doctors in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Brigham and Women’s Hospital for their care and compassion. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on WEDNESDAY from 4 until 8 P.M. Mr. Cincotta’s Funeral will begin on THURSDAY MORNING at 8 AM from the Funeral Home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 9 AM at ST. THERESA’S CHURCH, BILLERICA.
