Robert J. Zullo Loving Father, Son, Papa, Brother LOWELL—Robert J. “Bob” Zullo, 65, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2021, at a local nursing home. He was the loving father of Michelle Zullo Greenan. Robert was born in Somerville on September 11, 1955, a son of Margaret (Postizzi) Zullo of Somerville, who survives him, and the late D. Francis Zullo. He was educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. He had been an Auxiliary Police Officer for the City of Somerville. For many years, Bob was employed with Fleet Bank as a Branch Manager, then later at Sentry Insurance. Bob enjoyed playing racquetball and bowling. He enjoyed reading the newspaper everyday, and he was a great collector of many things. Bob was a family guy, and a lovingly devoted father to his only daughter, Michelle. He was always present at all of her sporting events and school functions. He enjoyed taking Michelle to Bruins games, as she was a competitive hockey player herself. They enjoyed traveling on family trips. As his two grandsons Braedyn and Tristyn grew, he was there for all of their sports games. He loved being their Papa. Bob enjoyed the holidays, and loved decorating accordingly, especially for Christmastime. Bob was always there when his family needed him. Bob is survived by his daughter, Michelle Zullo Greenan and her husband Matthew Greenan of Lowell; his mother, Margaret Zullo of Somerville; his two grandsons, Braedyn Greenan and Tristyn Greenan; his brother Ronald Zullo and his wife Marie; and his sister, Linda Zullo. Bob also leaves nieces, nephews, and several close friends. Bob was the brother of the late John Zullo.
