Rejeanne R. Dubois Loving Mother and Grandmother LOWELL—Rejeanne Rose (Bernier) Dubois, 64, a resident of South Lowell and the wife of the late Normand W. Dubois, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at her home, with her family by her side. Born in Lisbon, Maine on June 17, 1946, Rejeanne was a daughter of the late Romeo and Muriel (Lessard) Bernier. She attended school in Maine, and lived there until her marriage to Normand on August 30, 1969. Following their honeymoon, they settled in Lowell and together raised five loving children, three girls and two boys. Rejeanne remained at home, nurturing her family and taking care of their home. Rejeanne was a committed mother. She treasured her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, taking great pleasure in the simplest things life had to offer. Most of her time was devoted to family and friends. She enjoyed spending time in the garden, and around the house. Rejeanne could often be found chatting with family and friends around the kitchen table. She was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church, now St. Marie’s Church – Holy Family Parish. Surviving Rejeanne are her five loving children, Jacqueline Dubois Zegowitz and her husband James of Westford, Diane Dubois Prestipino of Lowell, Suzanne Dubois Frediani and her husband Jason of Lowell, David Dubois and Michael Dubois, both of Lowell; six grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, and Matthew Zegowitz of Westford, Julia Prestipino of Lowell, and Max and Jack Frediani of Lowell; her sister, Claudette Bernier of Florida; her brother, Denis Bernier and his wife Diane of Maine; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Georges Henri Dubois and his wife Terese of Chelmsford, Marcel Dubois and his wife Monique of Morgan Hill, CA, Denis Dubois and his wife Dorothy of Lewiston, ME, Monique (Sr. Monica, O.P.) Dubois of Ganado, AZ, and Denise Dubois and her husband Norman of Auburn, ME. Mrs. Dubois is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Mrs. Dubois’ Funeral will begin on SATURDAY MORNING at 9 o’clock from the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock at HOLY FAMILY PARISH – STE. MARIE’S CHURCH, corner of Chamberlain and Grafton Sts. Lowell. Burial will follow in the Lowell Cemetery.
