OBITUARY Ngor Lengsavat Loving Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, and Friend LOWELL—Ngor Lengsavat, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2021, at his home away from home in Stafford Springs, CT. Ngor was born in Huay Xay, Laos on August 6, 1977. As a young boy, he and his family emigrated to the United States in October of 1980, settling in Lowell, MA. Ngor was educated in the Lowell Schools and was a standout track star at the Daley Middle School. He went on to be a successful student at Lowell Middlesex Academy Charter School. He furthered his education at Middlesex Community College and ITT Technical Institute. Ngor was brilliant, and his love for technology was evident in the passion he showed in his work. He was an enthusiastic reader, loved philosophy, and was interested in not only understanding it but instituting it in his daily life. Most recently, he was employed as a Quality Assurance Technician at IPG Photonics in Oxford, MA. Ngor loved the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, spending time with his loved ones, and being grateful for all that he had. He also enjoyed traveling to Canada to visit and stay with family there. Ngor enjoyed his family and realized the importance of family. He loved all of his nieces and nephews very much. He grew up on Spring Ave in Lowell and had a huge group of friends from his Highlands neighborhood. There were a lot of fond childhood memories made there. Ngor was fun-loving, easygoing, and personable. A well-rounded, sophisticated soul. He enjoyed all types of music and especially enjoyed going to listen to Jazz at the Back Page Club in Kearney Square, Downtown. Ngor was a fan of “The Godfather Trilogy” and was drawn to the film series storyline. He equally enjoyed “A Christmas Story” with its vastly different humorous holiday theme and plot. Ngor had moved to Stafford Springs, Connecticut, and was living with his God Family there. He had spent most of the pandemic in Connecticut and was looking forward to new beginnings there. His unexpected death, of natural causes, was a shock to his entire family. Someone so young and full of life, taken away much too soon. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Bouahome Snoukphonh; his brothers and sisters, Sommay Lengsavat, his wife Huokeo, and their children, C J, Natasha, and Sofia; Avone Chanthachack, her husband Viengvilai, and their children Viennie and Timothy; Kate Lengsavat, her husband Nick Tek and their children Kailee and Emme; Lauren Lengsavat and her children Alexandria, Kadden, and Kavin; Ginny Snoukphonh, her husband J R Failanga, and their children Jet and Jax; and Jeffrey Snoukphonh. Ngor also leaves an aunt, Khamthip Phavorabouth, an uncle, Thong Sananixay, and many other extended family members and many, many dear friends. FUNERAL NOTICE Family and friends are invited to Ngor’s VISITING HOURS on FRIDAY, APRIL 9, 2021 from 4 until 8 PM at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, MA. TRADITIONAL BUDDHIST FUNERAL SERVICES will begin on SATURDAY MORNING at 7 AM at the Funeral Home, and HIS FUNERAL PROCESSION will take place at 8 AM to LINWOOD CREMATORY, 41 JOHN WARD AVE, HAVERHILL.
