OBITUARY Lillian M. Lemire Loving Mother and Grandmother LOWELL—Lillian M. (Perry) Lemire, 85, passed away on Saturday morning, June 3, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was the wife of Armand J. Lemire who passed away on October 1, 2010. Lillian was born in Lowell on December 7, 1931, one of six children of the late Ernest and Adrienne (DeSmet) Perry. She was educated in the Lowell Schools and a graduate of Lowell High School. Lillian was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church, now Holy Family Parish. Lillian married Armand Joseph Lemire on April 19, 1952, and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage. For many years Lillian was employed at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lowell as a Nurse’s Aide. In her later years, she worked at Rosenbloom’s Paper Products on Gorham Street. Lillian enjoyed the ocean and going to the beach. She loved to travel, take cruises, especially to the Bahamas. She was a good cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Lillian loved family gatherings and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lillian is survived by two daughters, Gail A. Dunlavey and her husband Kevin of Lowell, and Linda G. Walters and her husband David of El Paso, TX; her son Raymond A. Lemire and his fiancé Jody of Lowell; her four grandchildren, Amy Genao and her husband Eddy, Charles Schaefer III and his fiancé Angela, Jason Lemire, and Amanda Lemire; her seven great grandchildren, Natalie Schaefer, Celina Schaefer, Emilee Schaefer, Casey Lemire, _ Brandon Lemire, Riley Lemire, and Tessa Lemire ; three sisters, Irene Nuttall and Anna Aufiero, both of Lowell, and Helen Desrosiers of Tyngsborough; a brother, Edmund Perry and his wife Ginny of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Lillian was the sister of the late Ernest Perry Jr. and the sister-in-law of the late Thomas Nuttall, Carmen Aufiero, and George Desrosiers. FUNERAL NOTICE LEMIRE—In Haverhill, June 3, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Lillian M. (Perry) Lemire, 85, a resident of Lowell, and the wife of the late Armand J. Lemire. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on THURSDAY from 10 AM until 12 NOON. Mrs. Lemire’s FUNERAL SERVICE WILL FOLLOW at 12 NOON in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.
