June M. Frechette Loving Partner, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Aunt LOWELL—June M. (Lussier-Bernier) Frechette, 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. June was born in Lowell on June 21, 1955, a daughter of the late Charles O. and Elizabeth C. (Bunker) Lussier. She was educated in Dracut and Lowell schools, graduating from Lowell High School. June was a homemaker and a fantastic Mom to her three daughters, Shelley, Jennifer, and Renée. She was involved with all of her children’s activities and sports, volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader, and softball and bowling coach. She proudly attended the Military Graduation of her daughter Shelley. When her children were grown, June was employed as a School Bus Driver and manager of the bus company. She also worked at Wang Labs and part time as a bartender. Most recently she was employed as an in home personal care assistant. June was a hands on mother and grandmother, attending all of her grandchildren’s births, in person! She always wanted the best for her children, and loved staying close with them, even if it was just a daily phone call. June loved to travel with her life partner Ray Coleman. They had just recently celebrated 17 years together. They loved the beach, the ocean and the islands, and took countless traveling excursions together. She also enjoyed horseback riding and rollercoasters. Surviving June in addition to her partner Ray are her two daughters, Shelley Conlin and her wife Laura Conlin of Salisbury, and Renee Bernier of Lowell. Sadly her daughter Jennifer Lee Jones passed away on July 7, 2019, something she never got over. June also leaves her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Robert Conlin, Cameron Conlin, Hayley Martin, Tucker Martin, Nathan Stuart, Ashley Pepin, Jaycob Pepin, and Cameron Pepin; her siblings, Rita Campbell, Edgar “Ed” Lussier, Robert Lussier and his wife Sharon, and William Lussier and his wife Debbie; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. June was the sister of the late Charles J. Lussier, George Lussier, and Alice Lussier.
