Josephine M. Feehan “Josie” Josephine M. “Josie” Feehan ( DeMichaelis), 100, beloved wife of the late Francis Gilbert “Gibby” Feehan, passed away peacefully at Northwood Rehabilitation Center on February 11, 2025. Josie was born in Lowell on August 9, 1924, a daughter of the late Modesto and Anna (Tennerini) DeMichalis, both of whom moved to America from Italy. She was a graduate of the Butler Middle School and of Lowell High School. Here she met the love of her life, Francis Feehan, whom she married and together they went on to raise 8 loving children. They shared over 56 years of marriage together. She was a lifelong Lowell resident and proud of it. Josie worked at Prince Macaroni in Lowell until starting her family. She left the work force to be present for her 8 children. Josie loved cooking and making traditional Italian dishes, including her delicious lasagna. She loved scratch tickets, going to the casinos, and playing Keno. She adored her 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. For 20 years she would go to Hampton Beach with her grandkids. These trips were very special for all. Josie will be greatly missed by her large and loving family. Josie is survived by her children; Michael Feehan of Tampa, FL, Brian and his wife Joan Feehan of Lunenburg, MA, Linda (Feehan) and her husband Terry LaPointe of Tyngsboro, Ma, John and Patty Feehan of Lowell MA, Dennis Feehan and his life long partner Donna Paculian, James and his wife Diane Feehan of Lowell, MA, Joey Feehan, Stephen Feehan and his life long partner Erin Muzichuck; grandchildren Noelle, Meghan, Chris, Mark, Timmy, Melanie, David, Matt, Samantha, Shawn, Danny, Ryan and Nicholas; great grandchildren Natalie, Paige, Jackson, Brayden, Carter, Noah, Michael, Lucas, Madison, Shawn, Jackson, and Isabella; her sister Margaret Marriott, her brother Chester DeMichelis. Josie was also the mother-in –law of the late Jeannie Frotten. Family and Friends may call at FAY MCCABE FUNERAL HOME on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2025 from 9 AM until 10:30 AM.
