Mr. Joseph W. Guerin

Joseph W. Guerin LOWELL- Joseph William Guerin, 53, passed away on October 15, 2023. He was the loving husband of Carol Guerin who survives him. Joseph was born in Lowell on August 25, 1970, a son of the late Robert Guerin and Johanna M. (Dalton) Guerin. He was educated in Lowell, attending the LeBlanc, Moody, and Lowell High School. As a boy, Joey enjoyed serving as an Altar Boy at St. Joseph’s Lithuanian Church on Rogers St. Growing up, Joey was an amazing athlete. From his days on the baseball diamonds of Shedd Park, he went on to play baseball at Lowell High School. Also an accomplished hockey player, he played Varsity Hockey for Lowell High as a freshman. He was extremely smart, and was very proud of being a Guerin from Lowell. Joe was a carpenter by trade and was working as a construction supervisor. Joe and his family lived in Derry, NH for many years before moving to Georgia about 20 years ago. He was a loving father and an amazing grandfather. He loved his grandchildren and was very proud of them. Joe is survived by his devoted wife Carol Guerin; his daughter, Jessica Guerin; his two step children, Stephanie O’Donnell and Christopher O’Donnell; his two grandsons, Aiden and Greyson; his sisters and brothers, Deborah Trumbull and her husband Bruce, Donna Seeker, Robert Bray and his wife Cyndi, David Bray and his wife Jill, Mark Guerin, Sean Guerin, Steven Guerin and his wife Erin, and Michelle Larned and her husband Phillip; his aunts and uncles, David Dalton, Ann Marie Dalton, Edward Dalton, and Marion Hickey; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call at THE FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET IN LOWELL on WEDNESDAY, NOV. 1, 2023 from 5 until 7 PM. Joey’s FUNERAL will begin on THURSDAY MORNING at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home, followed by his FUNERAL MASS at 10 o’clock at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 144 E. Merrimack Street, Lowell. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury.
