James E. Conway Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather Dracut -- James Edwards "Jim" Conway, 65 the beloved husband of Jan (Laurin) Conway, passed away unexpectedly at his house on Friday, December 3, 2021. Jim was born in Lowell on September 30, 1956 and was the only child of the late John Frederick Conway and Mary (Mahan) Conway. He received his early education at the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and continued his education at St. Francis in Tewksbury. Jim received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Suffolk University and enjoyed a successful 26+ year career in printing sales with Wharf Industries in Windham, NH. Jim enjoyed traveling, music, sports, going for walks, reading, and his yearly family vacations at Newfound Lake. He was a man of God whose faith was very dear to him. He was proud of his Irish Heritage and enjoyed a recent trip to Ireland, meeting family in Galway for his anniversary with Jan. He was the ultimate all around dad and coached every sport while never missing an event or game. Jim's most enjoyable times were the ones spent with family and friends. Jan, Tracy, Kayla, and Olivia were his world and meant everything to him. He was a people person and could touch your heart and make you laugh in a single conversation. When he walked into a room it lit up. He created unforgettable memories from the joy of his laughter and extraordinary dance moves. To know Jim was to love him. Surviving Jim are his wife of 40 years, Jan Conway of Dracut; his two daughter and sons-in-law, Tracy and Erik Dalton of Hudson NH, Kayla Conway and Shayne Cranmore of Dracut; his granddaughter Olivia Dalton; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joy and John Sorota of Lowell, Jill and Dave Sutherland of Dracut, Jay Laurin of Florida, and Jeff and Kelly Laurin also of Florida. Jim leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins including Brenda Conway, and many dear friends.
