Helen T. Jarret Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother LOWELL—Helen Theresa (Arthur) Jarret, 83, passed away on Friday evening, March 10, 2017 at Lowell General’s Saints Campus, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Henry Jarret who passed away on August 22, 2014. Helen was born in Lowell on June 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Alexander A. and Mary E. (Lennon) (Arthur) Antell. She was a graduate of Lowell Schools. Helen married Henry Jarret on September 29, 1951, and together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. When they were first married, Helen and Henry lived in Pembroke, NH. They moved to Lowell, and eventually lived on the corner of Lawrence St. and Moore St. for many years. She was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church. Helen was a devout Catholic and attended Mass and prayed the Rosary daily. Prior to her retirement, Helen was employed with Western Electric as an assembler. Helen and Henry moved to Ackerman’s Retirement Park in North Salem, NH, where they spent many happy years. She had 3 close friends at Ackerman’s. In her younger years, Helen enjoyed traveling and camping. Crown Point Campground in Vermont was one of their favorites. Helen loved to take trips to Foxwoods with her husband. Most recently, Helen had been a resident of Wingate at Belvidere. There, she enjoyed all of the activities, especially Bingo, playing the horseraces, and the music provided by Mary Daigle and her husband. Helen kept her mind sharp by completing crossword puzzles, word searches, and other word games. She had many, many good friends, both residents and employees, at Wingate. Most of all, Helen enjoyed all of the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Helen is survived by her three children, Thomas and Denise Jarret of Hudson, NH, Cheryl and Gregory Rodriguez of Lowell, and Ty and Bonnie Jarret of Lowell. She was the mother of the late Deborah Blamy and mother-in-law of the late Charles Blamy. Helen also leaves seven grandchildren, William Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, Thomas Jarret, II, Kyle Jarret, Jessica Grissett, Matthew Perin, Ryan Rodriguez, and Gregory Rodriguez, Jr.; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; her sister, Sandra Lones; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Luz; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends including her dear friend Mary Lenz. Helen was the sister of the late Gerald Arthur, Patricia Lambert, and Leona Winters. FUNERAL NOTICE JARRET—In Lowell, March 10, 2017 at Saints, Helen T.
