Desinet Flores Crespo “Princess Desi” Beloved Mother, Daughter, and Sister LINCOLN- Desinet Flores Crespo passed away on June 14, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 36 years old. Desinet was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on September 27, 1982 to Jose Flores and Daissy Crespo. She was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School and furthered her education at The Holden Medical Institute as well as the Slater School for Health Aid. Desinet’s career path was health care based and she loved helping her patients. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Lowell. Desinet was a very active member of the church and was part of their choir. She had many passions in life, among them were singing, dancing and cooking. Desinet loved her Boston Sports Teams and could always be heard cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Cosmetology, hair dressing and nail art were a talent of Desinet’s. She was involved in competitions for her nail designs and was known for always making others look their best. Above all, Desinet’s first love was family, especially her children, Darnel, Dante and Yezaidelis. She loved all gatherings and loved celebrating the holidays surrounded by her loved ones. In addition to her parents, Desinet is survived by her two sons, Darnel C. Santana of Hudson, NH; and Dante J. Cedano of Lowell and her daughter Yezaidelis Flores of Lowell; her sister Veronica Flores of Tampa, Florida; her 3 brothers, Jose A. Flores, Jr. and his companion Danielle M. Tillman of Seattle, Washington; Adrian Flores and his wife, Maria of Brandon, Florida; Josue Flores of Indiana; her grandparents Wilfredo Acosta and his wife, Consuelo Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; and her grandmother Nereida Crespo of Lowell; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on WEDNESDAY from 4 until 8 P.M. Ms. Flores’s Funeral will begin on THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock from the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH, 282 SUFFOLK STREET LOWELL.
