Mrs. Deborah A. "Debi" Ramsden

Deborah A. Ramsden Loving Wife and Mother and Grandmother LOWELL—Deborah Ann “Debi” (Hamel) Ramsden, 64, passed away on Saturday morning, February 3, 2018, at Lowell General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Charles Ramsden. Deborah was born in Lowell on January 4, 1954, a daughter of Laura M. (Darling) Hamel who survives her, and the late Frederick Hamel. She was educated in the Lowell Schools and was a graduate of the Lowell Trade School. Debi was employed at Wang and later Raytheon. Prior to her retirement, she was a Para- Professional for the City of Lowell School Department. Debi enjoyed going to the beach and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking. Debi was a big fan of the Beatles and John Lennon. She was a parishioner of St. Marie’s Church. Surviving Debi are her husband Charles Ramsden; her mother, Laura Hamel; her three children, Kristen Ramsden, Steven Ramsden and his wife Carolann Ramsden, and Timothy Ramsden; her grandchildren, Samantha Ramsden, Alissa Ramsden, both of Lowell, Madison Ramsden of Kentucky, and Khloe Ramsden of Florida; her sister, Dorothy Moloney; her brothers, Fred Hamel and his wife Eileen, and Rick Hamel and his wife Lisa; her mother-in-law, Marion Vasey; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Gilmartin and Susan Ramsden; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; her aunt, Dot Rogers; and a son-in-law, John DiSanzo. Debi was the sister-in-law of the late Joseph Moloney. FUNERAL NOTICE RAMSDEN—In Lowell, February 3, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital, Deborah A. “Debi” Ramsden, 64, a South Lowell resident. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on WEDNESDAY from 4 until 7 PM. Debi’s Funeral will begin on THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock from the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock at HOLY FAMILY PARISH – ST. MARIE’S CHURCH, corner of Chamberlain and Grafton Sts. Lowell. Cremation will follow.
