Christopher R. Salazar Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend Christopher R. Salazar’s smile will go on in our hearts forever. He was born on January 3rd 1992 and passed away December 7th 2014. He was only twenty-two years old and had so much to live for. It comes as a shock to us all and we will miss his laugh and charm, but most of all we will miss seeing him everyday and hearing his voice. Those of us who were fortunate to get to know Chris were blessed. He was truly an inspiring and uplifting person. He is survived by his Mother, Johanna Broughey, Brother Ryan Broughey, Sister Marell Broughey, Half-sister Michelle Salazar, Half-sister Tamara Salazar, Aunt Theresa DiGiovanni, Uncle Wally DiGiovanni, Cousin Matthew DiGiovanni, Cousin David DiGiovanni, Uncle Joe Rondeau, Aunt Sue Rondeau, Cousin Derek Rondeau, Cousin Nicole Rondeau, Nephew Preston Broughey, and his longtime girlfriend Stephanie Lucas and her family. Christopher is not only survived by his family, but by his many friends, who will keep his memory strong and alive. Chris was the type of person you could meet once and he would leave an impression in your heart. He put others before himself and would make any family member, friend, or stranger laugh. The best part of him making you laugh was when you were able to hear his joyous laugh as well. Christopher was born in Lawrence, MA. He attended grade school in Lowell, middle school in Lowell/Chelmsford and graduated from Pelham High School in 2010. He was on the Wresting, Football, and Baseball teams at Pelham High School. He continued his schooling at the Nettts Institution. He was studying HVAC and was going to graduate in January. Chris enjoyed working on cars, hanging out with his friends, and spending time with his girlfriend Stephanie. He was determined and hard working. Any obstacles that came his way he did not dwell or hesitate upon them, he instead found a way to overcome and move forward. We were all very proud of his accomplishments and his future ambitions. He will be forever missed and forever in our hearts. The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living and may our memories of Chris be everlasting.
