OBITUARY Aixa A. Osorio Bonano Loving Mother, Grandmother LOWELL—Aixa A. Osorio Bonano, with her loving family by her side, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Puerto Rico on December 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Vicente and Isabel (Carzamilia) Osorio. Aixa was educated in Puerto Rico but made her home in the United States. It is here that she enjoyed 27 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Marcelino Bonano. She adored her husband and was completely devoted to him until his death in 1995. Aixa was an excellent mom and it was her favorite role. She was an adoring grandmother and great grandmother who took delight in all family gatherings where she would get to exercise her cooking skills. Everyone who knew Aixa called her “Mom”. This was because of her loving and nurturing nature, her heart of gold, her willingness to help, and her generous and giving spirit. Aixa worked at Lowell Community Health Center where her patients and co-workers were recipients of her kindness. She loved her job and it showed in the way she treated all who came through the door with respect and graciousness. Aixa was loved by her co-workers. In her free time, if not with family, Aixa loved to shop and play computer games. She was known to be bold when need be, strong in spirit, and very honest. These are three wonderful qualities to possess and excellent attributes for her children and grandchildren to follow. Aixa is survived by her children: daughters Aixa A. Chevere, Mirta G. Chevere, Leslie A. Chevere Rosado, Sasha H. Bonano-Cruz, and Yaralee Bonano; son Phillip Machado Jr.; a sister, Sandra Osorio; a brother, Vicente Osorio; her grandchildren, Fiona Perez, Juan Carlos Bracetty, Delia Rosario, Ivan V. Chevere, Nelson Correa Jr, Priscilla Drolet, Marc Drolet, Shanice Correa, Mya Lamarche, Marcelino Lamarche, Joshua Rivera, Melvin Rodriguez, Damaris Rodriguez, Angela Gonzalez, Phillip Machado Jr. II, Maverick Machado, LeeLah Machado, Aliana Rosado, Destiny Perez, and Ricardo Rosario; her great grandchildren, Steven Santos, Jeffrey Santos, Dimitre, Jalen Bracetty, Ryan Bracetty, Adriana Bracetty Ralls, Ivan Jr. Chevere, Izel Chevere, Iden Chevere, Carlos Marquez, Jacob Marquez, Nelson Daniel Correa, Leanna Mercado, Janiyah Rodriguez, and Nirvana Rosado. Aixa was also the sister of the late Miguel Angel Osorio and Esther Osorio Ildefonso. FUNERAL NOTICE Aixa A. Osorio Bonano LOWELL—Aixa A. Osorio Bonano, 68, a Centralville resident, passed away on July 10, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. She was the wife of the late Marcelino Bonano. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on FRIDAY from 4 until 8 PM. Aixa’s FUNERAL will begin on SATURDAY MORNING at 9 AM from the Funeral Home, followed by her FUNERAL MASS at 10 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 282 Suffolk Street, Lowell.
