OBITUARY Stephen R. Szmyt Longtime Lowell Resident and Sacred Heart Parishioner LOWELL--Stephen R. Szmyt, age 54, died suddenly on June 21, 2012 in Langhorne, PA. Stephen was born on March 26, 1958, a son of Theodore J. Szmyt who survives him, and the late Dorothy (Finneral) Szmyt. A Lowell resident for most of his life, Stephen relocated with his father to Langhorne, PA, in 2009. Stephen was a kind soul. He loved being around animals, especially dogs. Stephen enjoyed watching Red Sox games with his father, playing card games with family and taking daily walks in the neighborhood. He will be sadly missed by his father, Theodore; his brother, Patrick and his wife, Roberta; his sister Karen and her husband, Dick Carson; his 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 grandnieces and 2 grand nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy, in 1989. May he be in peace now – he will be missed by all. FUNERAL NOTICE SZMYT—In Langhorne, PA on June 21, 2012. Stephen R. His Funeral MASS will Follow at 11:30 A.M. at HOLY FAMILY PARISH – ST. MARIE’S CHURCH, corner of Chamberlain & Grafton Sts. Lowell. Mr. Szmyt’s burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell.
